Partner With MGIEvery project page on the MGI website follows our 12-stage photographic journey — from site survey through final completed installation. Click any project above to see the full documentation.
Photographic documentation of each project stage protects our clients, provides proof of quality, and tells the complete story of the work. Each stage photo includes a description of what was done, why it matters, and how it connects to the next stage.
Initial jobsite walkthrough to assess ground conditions, obstacles, utility conflicts, and access points before any work begins.
Bore path or trench route is mapped, reviewed for utility conflicts, and approved before equipment is deployed to the site.
811 locate tickets pulled and verified. All known utilities are marked and exposed (potholed) where the bore path crosses them.
Open trench installation begins where boring is not required. Trench depth and width are maintained per project specifications.
Conduit runs are installed in the trench or bore path, including innerduct, microduct, or duct bank where specified by the project scope.
Mainline fiber optic cable is pulled through the installed conduit. Footage is tracked and production is documented per pull.
Last-mile fiber lateral runs are placed from the mainline conduit to each individual home or business on the route.
Fiber is brought into the building or structure through a proper entry point, maintaining weatherproofing and code compliance.
Fiber optic cables are spliced and terminated at the designated splice points. Splice prep documentation is captured at each location.
Network equipment, pull boxes, hand holes, vaults, and any ancillary hardware are installed and secured per project specifications.
OTDR testing and signal verification confirm the fiber installation meets performance specs from end to end before project closeout.
Site cleanup, final as-built documentation, completion photos, and project closeout — delivered cleanly to the client.
